Apartments Don Miguel 2, BENIDORM
These apartments are a little way up the hill behind the Benikaktus Hotel. From here you get good views of the bay from the higher floors, and partial views from the lower floors. There is a swimming pool (only guaranteed to be open mid June to mid September) and tennis court. There is also free private parking. It is possible for wheelchair users to enter the building and go to the apartments, but because of its location on the hill it is probably not a good option. In this building there are one, two and three bedroom apartments. They sleep up to 4, 6 and 8 persons with the sofa bed which makes into two single beds. They have an open plan kitchen/lounge/diner, and good size balcony. The bathrooms have a 3/4 bath. They do not have safes. Wifi is available at 22 euros for 1 week, 29 euros 2 weeks, 35 euros 3 weeks, 40 euros 1 month. Price includes the use of water, gas, electricity and cleaning on departure. Bed linen and towels are also supplied and changed weekly. Refundable cash deposit of 150 euros per apartment payable on arrival.

Property: The apartment itself was spacious and clean, with a nice view of the sea and coast. There is no central heating in any of the rooms, just a couple of heaters. The boiler wasnt very good at heating the water either.
There were no reception staff or night porters seen at anytime during the stay and there were some areas of building that were unfinished.

Property: No kettle and limited kitchen equipment for a 3 bed that could cater for 8 people. A family with children would struggle as no plugs in sinks or bath and very limited hot water. after 1 of our party had showered the renmaining 5 had cold water only. Views and location good although internal decor is dated and had not been improved from our visit last year. the appartment needs a lick of paint and some small upgrades to bathrooms and kitchen, otherwise a good base for a short break.

Property: The property is fine once you get to the flat. To access the flat you need negotiate a steep set of steps from the beach and catch two lifts. Not for the faint hearted or people who find walking difficult. The loaction of the property is fine and only short walk to the sea front itself. All in all a good property and location for those who dont mind a walk.

Property: The San Miguel 11 is a very comfortable and private apartment block. My friends and I stayed in a 3 bedroomed apartment this June and we throughly enjoyed our 7 night stay.our only complaint as such was that it was very warm at night and we did not have air conditioning.(not a setback would have prefered to have air conditioning)we also had a sea view .we had no problems finding the apartment as we hired a private car and a gentleman by the name of manfred picked us up at the airport with the keys and delivered us right to the front door of the building.marvellous.The apartment block is located at a 5 minute walk from the beach and you have a lovely little english resterant at the end of the hill if you prefer a full irish or english breakfast if not you have a very well stocked supermarket right across the road from the apartment (couldnt ask for more)No safety deposit boxes in any of the rooms in our aprartment but in saying that the front of the building is secure as in you need a key to enter the ground floor(would have prefered a safety box in at least one room)overall it was an enjoyable stay .i have been to Benidorm 3 times so far this year 2008 and my friends and i always enjoy ourselves.i would recommend the San Miguel 11 and i would book it again.

Property: we were on the 14th floor with fantastic views day and night.We were the only mad brits to be using the pool in october!The appartments and grounds were spotless.Would stay there again for sure.
